Please help Second Harvest Food Bank provide 30,000 meals to our East Tennessee neighbors in honor of 30 years of the Tennessee Legends Towel!
The Tim Kerin Towel Drive began in 1992 as a fundraiser to honor Hall-of-Fame athletic trainer and beloved Vol-for-Life Tim Kerin. In 2020, Second Harvest Food Bank and the Kerin family expanded the fundraiser to include Kerin’s mentor and friend Coach Johnny Majors, who served as head coach at the University of Tennessee from 1977-1992, renaming it the Legends Towel.
More than 1.8 million meals have been provided to East Tennesseans facing hunger over the past 30 years thanks to the Legends Towel drive. Please help us honor Tim Kerin and Coach Majors one last time in celebration of the towel drive’s 30th anniversary by donating to help us reach our goal of 30,000 meals!
Please note that towels are not being distributed this year. Donors will not receive commemorative Tennessee Legends Towels.
