For every $1 given, Second Harvest is able to provide three meals to people in need. And for every partnership we have with a grocer, food company or farmer, we’re able to find a valuable purpose for foods that otherwise may have gone to waste.
All gifts to Second Harvest are tax deductible. Tax receipts are mailed for each gift received. An annual report is available on request. In-kind donations are tax deductible based on the value of the product donated. If you have any questions about tax deductions and gifts made to Second Harvest, please call us at 865-521-0000.
