Partner agencies are non-profit organizations in our community that operate hunger-relief programs. Second Harvest strengthens these organizations efforts by offering various food products to them through different programs. Agencies are often soup kitchens, shelters, church pantries, after-school programs, rehabilitation centers, group homes etc.
Second Harvest serves more than 500 partnering organizations in 18 East Tennessee Counties. All Second Harvest agencies, must give away the food they receive from Second Harvest for free. No one who is hungry in our community is ever charged for food by Second Harvest or one of our partner. Agencies may be active partners in one or several Second Harvest programs, depending on their needs and who they serve.
